United Way of Steele County and Spero are hosting the “What Home Means to Me” Community Summit on July 17, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. This free event includes dinner and invites community members to share their experiences with housing challenges and support systems. The goal is to gather input on what home means to individuals and how the community can ensure everyone has a safe place to live. Childcare and transportation are available.
On October 28, 2022, we hosted our first Community Summit in response to the recommendations provided in the 2022 Gap Analysis conducted on behalf of United Way of Steele County by Cybele Consulting.
