NEED:

Volunteer Delivery Drivers - Meals on Wheels Program

DESCRIPTION: 

SEMCAC is currently seeking volunteer delivery drivers
to help cover the 9 local routes. Volunteers arrive at the site around 10:30AM to pick up a route to be delivered to clients' homes.

The route consists of 7-10 homes total and volunteers are generally back to the site within 60-90 minutes.

COMMUNITY PATHWAYS OF STEELE COUNTY

NEED:

Curbside Order Takers

DESCRIPTION: 

Curbside service for our customers. They have requested that clients remain in their cars.  Volunteers will go out to greet/speak with the client - take & fill their order - and bring the food out to the client's vehicle.

The shifts are as follows:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 – Noon
  • Monday – Friday: Noon to 3:30
  • Saturdays from 8:00 – 11:00

NEED:

Factory made N95 & ear loop masks
Hand sewn ear loop masks. (Instructions)

DESCRIPTION: 

Allina Health is calling for donations of protective face masks to help meet ongoing health care needs and conserve existing personal protective equipment (PPE) who are engaged in COVID-19 response.

Masks can be donated daily starting Sunday, March 22 through April 5, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at most Allina Health hospitals. When you arrive to donate masks, remain in your car. A staff member will come to you to accept your donation. Look for “mask donation” signage as you arrive. To arrange donations on a pallet, please email CaringForCaregivers@allina.com

NEED:

Blood Donations

DESCRIPTION: 

The Red Cross is now in critical need of blood. Donating blood is a completely safe process. Infection control is something that the Red Cross holds to the highest standard, so please do not hesitate to give because of COVID-19.

Basic Needs Donations

DESCRIPTION: 

Rachel's Light is currently closed to referrals. However, they are still accepting
donations.  Donations should be left outside the door; on the step.  Currently,
they are in need of the following items:

Most immediate needs:
Clorox/Lysol wipes
Garbage bags
Size 4 diapers
Size 4-5 boys pull-ups
Hairbrushes (no combs)
Childrens toothbrushes

Additional needs:
Bath towels
Wash cloths
Full size shampoo/conditioner
Deodorant
